On PHP Debuggers

[The views expressed in this blog are definitely my own and not those of anyone I work for, have worked for, or even get drunk with.] I’m used to Xdebug. We use Zend Platform. Am I going to have to have a Rodney King moment? Here is Derek’s take on it, and here is some […]

Web 2.0 takes on SuperBowl commercials

Mischa mentioned that a bunch of Web 2.0 companies wanted to get in on the whole SuperBowl ad thing. Being Web 2.0 and not Web 1.0, they put their commercials on YouTube. Here is one from “the bunch of monkeys” I used to work for: Their budget? $50 for the bar tab. Sure beats wasting […]

My personality

As I was nitpicking a historical inaccuracy in a recent Wired article, Holly wondered if I ever took a Myer-Briggs. I always felt I’d score an introvert, but nearly everyone who ever took Myer-Briggs said I’d score a heavy extrovert. I had never took one so I didn’t know. So today I did.

Two ideas from Olympus

Olympus released a whole slew of new cameras today, but I thought I’d pick up two because they have interesting approaches worth mentioning. [Two cameras after the jump.]

PE6-5000

Dave sent me an article noting the end of the Hotel Pennsylvania in New York. I’m half tempted to SkypeOut 212-736-5000 just to listen to the song.
