Christ. Do you have a note on your renters/homeowners insurance for all those cameras? The value of your photography equipment is probably approaching that of a medium sized boat.

    I’m not jealous… oh no!

You got a 12-24 you can loan out for a bit ?!

    Regards,

    Rob…

Interesting blog post about trying to choose a camera definitely worth a read. In the end he chose a Canon 40D, but note this:

Well, I did get to spend talk quite a bit with the wonderful folks at the Houston Camera Exchange and handle a bunch of camera…A couple of things came out of the grope-fest: first, how the camera feels in your hand is a huge deal (I intellectually knew that but there is nothing like handling a bunch of cameras in succession to actually understand it). Second, there are very few cameras that are actually comfortable in my hand.

Now read my two year old article (scroll to the last section).

One thing bugging me about the Nikon D3 is that some of the switches are hard for my hand to reach while my eye is against the viewfinder. I can’t wait until this technology is put into a D300-class body.

@Rob… It needs repair but I can lend it after that.

And look at all that wine in the background. I need to introduce your D3 to my F3. I think they’ll get along :)
