I created a task to remind myself to "be lucky" as part of my weekly review. flackette asked about what I wrote in the task so in case you are curious:

Luck is about catching opportunities that are there, it is hard to catch them if you are anxious or overly focused
1) Spot chance opportunities: They are skilled at creating and noticing chance opportunities. Don't be a creature or routine by introducing variety into your life
2) Listen to intuition: Make lucky decisions by listening to their intuition. Listen to both how you think and feel about an option
3) Expect to be lucky: Create self-fulfilling prophesies via positive expectations
4) Be more resilient to bad luck: Adopt a resilient attitude that transforms bad luck into good. Imagine how things could have been worse.
