Just when you thought it couldn’t get any geekier with inside jokes, lolgeeks is an amusing take on LOLCATS. Here geeks make various image macros in pidgin of photos of other geeks.
And just when you thought I couldn’t get any geekier, I find out that my “Chris as a beer” photo made lolgeeks…
Chris, that’s karmic retribution for being declared a PHP hero a full three weeks before me!
Like that stuff? Then if you are “in” the social networking site with wit (and a horrible name): I’m In Like With You, why the hell aren’t you bidding up, flawedartist’s game in which Max Levchin, co-founder of PayPal and CEO of Slide at Facebook’s f8 event, is in sore need of an lolgeeks caption?

Those Canadians are funny people
I know you’re probably thinking of Rick Moranis or Leslie Nielson, but I’m talking about Sean Coates. Besides saying words like “out” in a really funny manner, Sean, inspired by my post, made a full podcast where I’m mentioned no less than three times (mp3 download)!
My favorite Canadian joke
Besides when we argue over whether Canada is the 51st state or US is the 11th province?
Q: How did Canada get it’s name?
A: They pulled letters out of a hat. “C” eh? “N” eh? “D” eh?.
You don’t believe me, but this one kills in Canada among my intellectual equals: grade schoolers. 🙂

Speaking of grade schoolers and Canadians, when I was in grade school (in America), they had this map of “States and Provinces.” We were obviously one nation back then. What happened? I think it’s sad we split up.
I’m working on the winning caption today. The last hour was nuts! Must have been because you blogged about it 🙂
