Andy Card resigns as White House Chief of Staff and is replaced by Yosh Bolten. This is a total non-story which is only interesting to those trying to survey how many people are trying to squeeze water from this rock.
The best take I read about this was a comment on the formerly right-wing blog, Balloon Juice: “Deck chair, meet Titanic.â€
The funniest take I read was a commenter on a right wing blog, Scutator. “This is a big change and I expect a bump in the polls.â€
The best part is the commenter is serious.
Also note the title of the blog entry: “we’re finally rid of Andy Card.†Good to know that your political party affiliation is still like rooting for your home football team.
At least I have commenters, which is more than you can say for your blog.
Yes, I agree. The comments on your blog are a lot more fun to read then you are.
At least people read my blog.
I’m a big fan of Balloon Juice. Leonidas, you really need a better trump card than having found a few like-minded idiots. You’re trying to tar a guy with a life and attractive, talented girlfriend.
HAHAHA!!!! Small world.
Careful where you trackback to. You might just get OGGed!
GO BUDDIES!
“You’re trying to tar a guy with a life and attractive, talented girlfriend.”
Are you talking about Andy Card?
Froomkin’s analysis. I’m still confused as to how this change is newsworthy.
“The Other Steve” I had no idea you were who you are. 🙂
Truly, you can see nothing has changed in the last six+ years over on this side, I’m still pissing off everyone.
If Leonidas is OGging me, however, he did a piss poor job of it. My CA is still sitting pregnant at 100/100 and I’m faking SIR. 😉
Leonidas neglects to mention that around 50% of the 10 or so people who consistently comment on his blog are liberals.
It might be because trolling there is like throwing ripe tomatoes at a brick wall.
Scott McClelland resigns and Karl Rove is demoted.
I wonder if Leonidas is going to be claiming that he expects “a bump in the polls†over these moves.
Moron.
