Hmm, the Intel Core 2 Duo is shipping? WWDC is next week?

Looks like my new Mac Book Pro will be ready in August.

   An article at PCMagazine about 10 Things You Need to Know About Intel’s Core 2 Duo (aka “Conroe”). The one for the Mac Book Pro will be the “Merom” not the “Conroe”

   Here is some released laptop benchmarks comparing the Core Duo to the Core 2 Duo and explaining why I’m waiting.

   Looks like Intel didn’t get the Core 2 Duo mobile in time for August WWDC.
