Gizmodo points out a multireader version (iRocks version) of my old IOGEAR one mentioned in the article.

If it were today, I’d blow the extra $4 for this one if these.

Gizmo Cafe covers the release of the 12 and 16GB CF cards at Photokina and links this blog entry.

I love this statement: “Pro photographers are often a bit nervous about putting so much data on a single card.”

[...] Dynamic buffering. Ouch! Remember when the Canon 300D performed this way? I wonder what Michael said about that? Oh that’s right. Nothing! In his defense, there wasn’t the Nikon D70 to put it to shame at the time. But it does serve to emphasize, once again, my old maxim: When Canon thinks nobody is looking, they screw you.
@James: I hope the memory card information helped and the IOGear Jumpdrive is useful (for more than just photography maybe).

Unfortunately it isn’t you. My DSL is having issues. The irony is I turned off my web server last week to save power while I was away at OSCON and my DSL never went down once. I come back and it goes down 10 times in one day!
