I was at Costco today to pick up some extra FoodSaver bags. After that I wandered around a little bit and I couldn’t avoid the temptation to pick up a copy of The Gourmet Cookbook ($22.49 at Costco).

I noticed an set of tutorials to teach the basics of the command line on MacDevCenter (part 1, part 2, part 3, part 4).
Many of longtime mac users may find this as a nice gentle introduction to the the command line in Mac OS X.

MacMinute clued me in to the fact that Pirates of Silicon Valley is coming out on DVD. I recorded this movie when I last had cable (back in 1999) because I was out the days it aired. I enjoyed this movie, and because of it’s high geekfest quotient, right up there with Real Genius.
